Women’s Conference & Retreat
March 7 – 9, Crowne Plaza, Clayton
I invite all TE women to join me at the Kol Nashim (Women's Voice) conference for a weekend of learning, leadership and celebration of Jewish Arts. The line up of women providing a wide variety of workshops is simply fantastic, as you will see on the website (see below).
There are over 40 workshops to choose from. I am looking forward to
“Biblical Women Who Took Action & Changed the World Forever” with Connecticut artist Janet Shafner
Director of Education of the Jewish Women's Archive in Boston Judith Rosenbaum’s workshop on “Costumes, Identity & Leadership from the Purim Story & Beyond”
“Change Agents & Leaders: A look at Deborah & Tamar” with Rabbi Vered Harris from Overland Park
I also look forward to learning some new yoga poses, relaxing with the ones I know and learning Tai Chi. I promise there is something for everyone over this conference weekend.
Please consider being part of the Temple Emanuel contingent of women attending. And let me know when you register so I will know how to plan a special TE women's celebration at the Crowne Plaza!
