Our purpose will be to enhance the spiritual life of attendees by adding to their knowledge of Torah through cooperative study. It will be part of the ongoing expansion of the adult education program at Temple Emanuel. Torah study is open to everyone regardless of background or knowledge.

Midweek Bible Study
On the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, from 10 to 11:30 AM. This group will study a wide variety of Jewish texts and discuss them in light of contemporary experience. We will meet in the Temple library and everyone is welcome regardless of background or knowledge.

Shabbat Supper and Study
On the fourth Friday of the month, at 6:30 PM , we gather for a potluck dinner and study session before our Shabbat evening worship service. The subject matter will include a broad spectrum of Jewish texts and topics. Material is sent out in advance of the dinner. The dinner is always delicious and the discussion is always very lively.
