Every Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 we gather together in the library around a table to study texts. For many years, we embraced the weekly Torah portion. Currently, we are engaged in the weekly Haftarah portion (the corresponding reading to the Torah portion from one of the prophets).
No previous knowledge or study is required.
Each session is its own unit so students come and go as schedules allow. Our tradition teaches that we learn a great deal from our teachers, more from our colleague but most from our students. This is truly the setting in which we learn from one another, challenge each other and the text, and celebrate the pure joy of learning and relationships.
